We’ve been kept very busy recently with a lot of unique new jobs. One of which was the Universal Connections Street Level youth centre in Carluke, Lanarkshire.

Having done a job here a few years back we returned to finished the room. With facilities such as games consoles, computer rooms, a bar and even musical instruments, it’s an incredible place for the local youngsters to chill out and entertain themselves.

The main feature of this job was to renew “The Wall”, In which all the kids who come to Street Level have their own brick as a right of passage. As well as this we worked with the kids to discuss people they would like to have portraits of painted on the wall. Who else but Jack and Victor? Others ranging from Bob Marley to Batman.

Artisan Workshops

We ran workshops with the kids, including graffiti work and a photography workshop where they could have professional style portraits done of them to take home.

All in all, an outstanding place full of genuinely nice people.
