Sol

This project is full rebrand of  the rooftop bar at Bambu, Swansea to promote Sol. After eight hours behind the wheel, we got stuck straight in with the rollers to give us a blank canvas for the next day when the transformation would really begin.

Sol’s branding team had given us a ‘folder of assets’ showing different ways of using the logo, but we pretty much had a free rein. Using a mix of aerosol, gilding and traditional sign writing, we covered every inch of the exterior walls with a ‘rip up’ design based on a paste up of Sol posters. The venue owners liked what we did so much, they asked us to create murals for the rooftop Surf Shack bar. We painted a wave to provide a photographic background for clubbers riding the Surf Shack surfboard, and we hear it’s proving really popular for a pic.
